The TopLaxRecruits Western Girls’ Rankings:
1. Colorado Academy (CO) 5-0
The Mustangs edged out Mullen in an 8-7 win in OT on Wednesday on a game-winner by Sydney Prokupek.
2. Novato (CA) 10-0
The Hornets gear for key games against No. 4 St. Ignatius Prep (Friday) and No. 10 La Costa Canyon (April 14).
3. California High (CA) 11-0
The Grizzlies remain perfect with a 19-9 win over Redwood.
4. St. Ignatius Prep (CA) 5-3
The Wildcats have racked up a solid win against St. Anne’s Belfield (VA) and two losses against other nationally-ranked ranked teams: St. Stephen’s & Agnes (DC) and Episcopal Academy (PA)
5. Cherry Creek (CO) 3-0.
The Lady Bruins defeated La Costa Canyon (CA), 13-5.
6. Mater Dei (CA) 9-0
The Monarchs remain undefeated and will face La Costa Canyon on Saturday.
7. Lake Oswego (OR) 3-0
The Lakers will face Illinois powers Glenbrook South, Hinsdale Central and Loyola Academy over the next three days.
8. Chaparral (AZ) 10-0
The Fireballs continue to dominate, beating their last two opponents for a combined score of 47-4.
9. Monte Vista (CA) 10-1
The Mustangs toppled previously undefeated Oak Park (CA) 14-8.
10. La Costa Canyon (CA) 5-2
The Lady Mavericks were handed two losses by elite teams: Holy Cross (MD) and No. 5 Cherry Creek (CO).
Under consideration: American Fork (UT) 5-0; Bainbridge Island (WA) 5-0; Brighton (UT) 5-0; Canyon Crest (CA) 9-1; Denver East (CO) 4-0; Eastside Catholic (WA) 5-0; Issaquah (WA) 6-1; Mullen (CO) 4-2; Oak Park (CA) 8-1; Park City (UT) 6-2; San Ramon Valley (CA) 5-1; Torrey Pines (CA) 8-1; Tesoro (CA) 10-1; West Linn (OR) 2-0.
