As a true midfielder, she has the endurance and game IQ to make an impact everywhere. At the defensive end she plays strong, textbook body defense and knows when to slide. On the offensive end her understanding of movement and ability to work with others, combined with her stickwork, cutting and shooting allow her to create opportunity. Lucy dominated as a draw taker for us. She averaged over 5 points per game and 7 draws a game. I also cannot say enough about Lucy’s work ethic, dedication, and leadership. Always looking to improve, she is extremely coachable, seeks out feedback, and puts in the extra time. She was also voted by her teammates to be a captain as a sophomore. Her competitive spirit and drive to be her best combined with her positive, supportive attitude are unmatched.
