The Final TopLaxRecruits Western Boys’ Rankings:
1. (tie) St. Ignatius Prep (CA) 19-2
The Wildcats defeated Bellarmine College, 9-4. to win the WCAL championship.
1. (tie) Cherry Creek (CO) 18-1
The Bruins defeated Regis Jesuit, 17-8, to win the CHSAA 5A Championship. Days later, legendary coach Bryan Perry retired after five state titles, 10 finals appearances and 258 wins in 20 years.
3. Regis Jesuit (CO) 15-4
The Raiders fell to Cherry Creek, 17-8, in the 5A state finals.
4. La Costa Canyon (CA) 18-2
The Mavericks toppled Coronado, 10-9, for the CIF San Diego championship.
5. Torrey Pines (CA) 17-5
The Falcons were upset by Coronado in the CIF San Diego Semifinals.
6. Poway (CA) 17-5
The Titans fell to Costa Canyon, 11-8, in the CIF San Diego Semifinals.
7. Loyola-Los Angeles (CA) 21-4
The Cubs toppled Santa Ana, 13-4, to win the US Lacrosse LA/OC championship.
8. Bellevue (WA) 16-3
The Wolverines defeated Mercer Island, 11-4, Ballard for the Washington 3A championship.
9. Faith Lutheran (NV) 18-0
The Crusaders routed Reno, 26-6, for the Nevada state championship.
10. (tie) Arapahoe (CO) 13-5
The Warriors reached the 5A state semifinals.
10. (tie) Oregon Episcopal (OR) 17-1
The Aardvarks defeated Sunset, 9-6, to win the Oregon state championship.
