The TopLaxRecruits Western Girls’ Rankings:
1. Torrey Pines (CA) 23-0
The Falcons completed a perfect season by defeating Poway, 15-5, in the finals of the San Diego Section Open Division championship. Taylor Scornavacco had four goals while Marisa Kuberra and Kelly McKinnon each scored three.
2. Novato (CA) 24-1
The Hornets face California High tonight in the North Coast Section Division I championship.
3. Colorado Academy (CO) 15-2
The Mustangs defeated Dakota Ridge, 17-10, to advance to the Colorado State Semifinals on Saturday where they will meet Arapahoe.
4. Mater Dei (CA) 16-5
The Monarchs toppled Redondo Union, 21-11, to win the Southern Section LA/OC title.
5. Poway (CA) 19-3
The Titans fell to Torrey Pines, 15-5, in the finals of the San Diego Section Open Division.
6. St. Ignatius Prep (CA) 10-6
The Wildcats ran through California HS, 14-6.
7. Lake Oswego (OR) 18-2
The Lakers meet Wilsonville in the state semifinals on Friday.
8. Cherry Creek (CO) 14-3 .
The Lady Bruins routed Air Academy, 19-4, to advance to the Colorado State Semifinals, facing Denver East on Saturday.
9. Denver East (CO) 14-3 .
The Angels toppled ThunderRidge, 10-5, to advance to the Colorado State Semifinals, facing Cherry Creek on Saturday.
10. Bainbridge Island (WA) 15-0
The Spartans play Eastside Catholic in the Washington State Championship on Friday.
